The Auctioneer Song

I love a good auction. My particular favorites are Shorthorn sales, but any livestock auction gets my little heart going pitter-pat. Two of my great friends, Colonels Johnny Regula and Kevin Wendt, are among the most talented livestock auctioneers I’ve ever seen. Given my enjoyment of the auction method of sale, you can probably imagine that I am a big fan of Leroy Van Dyke’s hit “The Auctioneer Song.” I found this clip today of Leroy performing the classic song in the movie What Am I Bid. Check it out; I’m sure you’ll enjoy it, too.
